About Me

Hey there! So, picture this: I’m that guy who’s all about those mind-blowing gizmos that make you go “whoa,” and don’t even get me started on my love for exquisite cheeses and charcuterie – it’s practically an art form! But guess what? When I’m not indulging in those passions, I’m actually a bit of a Data Nerd (shh, don’t tell anyone). Coding and crafting nifty software tools is my jam, and I’ve got this knack for making life a breeze with my creations.

Back in the day, I grew up in sunny San Jose, CA, and let’s just say that little me had a thing for taking stuff apart to see how they ticked. Fast forward to now, and that curiosity paved the way for my gig in data engineering.

I’ve had quite the adventure, having worked with big names like Sun Microsystems, Apple Computer, and Tivo over the span of a decade. These days, I’m strutting my stuff at Stanford as a Senior Data Engineer. Wrangling data, making it dance, setting up pipelines – you name it, I’ve done it. My fingerprints are all over some seriously cool data solutions that fuel Stanford’s research projects.

Now, outside the tech universe, I’m like a modern-day Renaissance guy. Catch me coaching kids’ sports, diving into the local scouting scene, and even rocking the amateur radio waves like a pro. When I’m not pushing buttons or crunching numbers, I’m cruising on my motorcycle, casting a line while fishing, or off exploring nature like a true wanderer.

But here’s the thing about me: whether I’m digging into complex data enigmas or helping youngsters up their game, I’m all in. Every challenge, every adventure – it’s all about diving in headfirst and giving it my all. So there you have it, a glimpse into my world of gizmos, gourmet delights, and data-driven awesomeness!
